User Data Deletion

Use these instructions to request deletion of personal data associated with Zinit, including data received through Facebook or Instagram integrations.

Request deletion through Facebook

If you connected Zinit to Facebook or used a Zinit feature that relies on Facebook Login, you can initiate a deletion request from your Facebook account:

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites and remove Zinit from your connected apps.
  3. Open View Removed Apps and Websites, select View next to Zinit, and choose Send Request when that option is shown.

Facebook's settings labels can change. If you cannot find the controls, use the direct request method below. Removing Zinit from Facebook does not by itself delete data held in your Facebook or Instagram account; manage that data through the relevant Meta product.

Request deletion directly from Zinit

Email info@zinit.com with the subject User Data Deletion Request. Include enough information for us to locate the relevant account or integration:

  • your name;
  • the email address used with Zinit;
  • the Zinit organization or account name, if applicable; and
  • a Facebook app-scoped user ID or confirmation code, if one was provided to you.

Do not send your password, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

What happens next

After receiving a request, Zinit will:

  • verify the request where reasonably necessary to protect the account;
  • identify personal data associated with the relevant Zinit account or Meta integration;
  • delete or de-identify data that Zinit controls and is not required to retain; and
  • provide confirmation or a status update using the contact information associated with the request.

We may ask for additional information if we cannot identify the account or verify that the requester is authorized.

Data we may retain

Zinit may retain limited information where required by law, contract, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or financial-record obligations. Data in backups is removed through the normal backup lifecycle. Where retention is required, the information remains protected and is not used for unrelated purposes.
